Limited Warranty for Products and Services

 

Warranty

Carson Pritchard Holdings Limited warrants all parts and services done to be free from defects in material and workmanship for;

1. six (6) months from the original date of purchase or
2. to the extent of warranty given by the manufacturer or,
3. to the extent of the commonly expected service life of the component or service or
4. to the extent outlined by applicable New Zealand law.

If the customer discovers a defect in a product or service covered by this warranty, Carson Pritchard Holdings Limited will repair at the option of Carson Pritchard Holdings using new or refurbished components, or if repair is not possible, replace the item. Carson Pritchard Holdings Limited Reserves the right to inspect the failed product or service with respect to the repair or replacement of the failed product or service.

 

Exclusions

This warranty covers defects in manufacturing discovered while using the product as recommended by the manufacturer. The warranty does not cover loss, theft, lack of maintenance, or use of products beyond the specifications of the manufacturer. Nor does coverage extend to misuse, abuse, unauthorised modification, improper storage conditions, lightening, natural disasters or other events determined to be an “act of god”.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear on parts including but not limited to;

1. moving seals and sealing surfaces,
2. items failed due to rusting,
3. rubber movement type protective shields,
4. hinges and locks,
5. rotating assemblies,
6.  static seals and sealing items.

 

Limits of liability

Should the product(s) fail, your sole recourse shall be repair or replacement, as described in the above paragraphs. Carson Pritchard Holdings Limited will not be held liable to the customer or any other party, for any damages that result from the failure of the product or service purchased. Damages excluded include but are not limited to;

1. loss of profits,
2. loss of savings,
3. loss of data,
4. damage to other equipment,
5. and any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use, misuse, or inability to use the product or service.

In no event will Carson Pritchard Holdings Limited be liable for more than the amount of the original purchase price, not to exceed the current list price of the product or service, and excluding tax, shipping and handling charges.
Carson Pritchard Holdings Limited disclaims any other warranties, expressed or implied.

By installing, using or accepting the product / service, the customer accepts all terms herein.

 

Requirements

Return shipping costs are to be the responsibility of Carson Pritchard Holdings Limited. The cost of shipping to the manufacturer or authorised service centre or payment of any customs clearance fees or duties are to be the responsibility of the customer.
